Summer Session

Summer Session: WMCC previously moved to a summer camp model for July and August but we are now running year-round enrolment that includes a September - June school year and a July & August summer session. We will continue to focus the summer months on a nature-rich and outdoor centered program.

Program: The intent for our program is that the children learn about nature by exploring the elements earth, air, water and fire. The Island environment gives us the unique opportunity to provide a program that allows the children to discover nature, work on crafts, create, observe, and play with friends.  We encourage the children to honour and respect themselves, each other, and the earth, through story, song, art, and self-expression. Our goal for the children is that they will feel that the camp is truly for them.

Year Round Enrolment: Currently enrolled students at WMCC will automatically continue in our summer session unless other arrangements are made by the end of April. If there are vacancies for summer, families on the waitlist will be contacted. Current students taking the summer off will be given priority of September enrolment.
